Armenian Relief Society of Australia A Humanitarian Organisation 1101

Since its founding in 1983, the ARS Scholarship Fund has been dedicated to supporting and empowering students who are eager to pursue higher education and make a meaningful impact on their communities. Through the generous contributions of the “Eremian,” “Jizmajian,” “Baghdoyan,” “Baloonian,” and “Kalaydjian” funds, the ARS has been able to provide numerous scholarships each year, helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.

For the first time in 2024, ARS Australia adopted the program, awarding scholarships to two exceptional university students annually. These scholarships are not only based on academic achievement but also take into account active engagement in the Armenian community. By investing in these future leaders, the ARS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the ongoing growth, prosperity, and visibility of the Armenian community. The scholarships help foster a new generation of professionals who are committed to both their heritage and their contributions to society, strengthening the presence of Armenians in diverse fields and industries.

The 2024 ARS University Scholarship recipients are Talar Jeghelian and Noor Chirenian. Congratulations to both students for their outstanding dedication, hard work, and invaluable service to the community. Their achievements reflect their commitment to excellence and their bright futures as leaders within the Armenian community and beyond.
