Every year around 1000 women in Armenia are diagnosed with breast cancer and with mortality rates higher than in most of the region we are seeing more women lose their battle to cancer.
The ARS hospital provides free mammograms to Armenian women but to improve detection rates must modernise and replace its life saving mammography machine
Supporting Armenian women in the fight against breast cancer
As an initiative of its 73rd International Convention the ARS is buying a new mammography machine for its Akhorian Mother and Child Health and Birthing Centre.
Costing around $295,000 (USD) your donation will help make this happen.
